Misbar discovered that President Biden received 51.3% of the votes cast in the 2020 presidential election compared to Donald Trump’s 46.8% according to the Council on Foreign Relations. The social media post does mention #Dearborn, most likely referring to Dearborn, Michigan.
On May 18, 2021, President Biden visited Dearborn, Michigan to speak at a Ford vehicle center. The President’s visit followed three days of protest from Palestinian groups. According to ClickonDetroit.com, Dearborn has the nation’s highest density of Arab Americans. When the President landed in Detroit, he was met by Democratic U.S. Reps. Debbie Dingell of Dearborn and Rashida Tlaib of Detroit. Tlaib is the only Palestinian-American in the Congress.
