Naftali Bennet Shows Pakistani Hospital in Video as ‘Hamas Headquarters’

Israel's Former Defense Minister Naftali Bennet posted a video on 20 May explaining why the attacks were conducted in Gaza Strip. He tagged public figures Bella Hadid, Trevor Noah, and John Oliver, who has been vocal about Israel's recent bombardment of Gaza. Bennet displayed a picture of a building claiming Al Shifa'a Hospital claiming is Hamas' headquarter is located while they're conducting terror actions against Israel.
Misbar’s Analysis
MENA: Misbar's investigation found the picture in the video is not related to Palestine. The image in the video depicts Al Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad was established in 1993 in Pakistan.
"The Israeli authorities have claimed that the Hamas authorities or Palestinian fighters directed or physically coerced individual civilians in specific locations to shield combatants or military objectives in a few incidents. Amnesty International has not been able to corroborate the facts in any of these cases,” the human rights group said in its report.
According to B'tslem, the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, Israeli actions' official premise is unfounded.
It is worth mentioning that there is no single independent entity responsible for investigating Israel’s justifications for bombing civilian targets in Gaza.
Al-Shifa'a Hospital, located in the western part of Gaza City, is the largest and most important hospital in the Gaza Strip, shown in the pictures below.
However, the video was mocked online by social media users, who criticized Bennett for showing the wrong image of the hospital and called on him to provide evidence for the other claims he had made.
