Websites and Facebook pages popped up advertising Charles Stanley CBD oil and gummies. This led many on social media to believe that the In Touch Ministries pastor is involved with selling these products.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar’s investigation concluded that any CBD products featuring Charles Stanley’s name or image are in no way associated with the pastor and are possibly a scam. There is a post on the In Touch Ministries Facebook page stating that Stanley is not associated with these products and calls it a scam.
The website for In Touch Ministries features a blog mentioning Charles Stanley CBD products as well. The blog states that Stanley has not begun selling CBD and anyone selling these products are attempting to steal personal information by using his image.
Christianity Today reported that in many cases these products do exist and if you order them they will arrive. However, Charles Stanley in no way endorses them and any claims that he’s associated with CBD-containing items are false.
