Nigerian Military Did Not Report a Recent Aircraft Crash in Kaduna

Over the weekend, several Nigerian news blogs ran a story alleging that another Nigerian military alpha jet that left Yola for Kaduna on Sunday crashed.
Misbar’s Analysis
The photo currently circulating in the claim is an old aircraft crash. A Google reverse image search reveals that of the military plane crash which occurred earlier in May, which claimed that eleven military personnel, including the former army chief, Lieut. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru.
The military has also debunked the circulating claim. According to Vanguard, NAF Director of Public Relations, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, said it did not receive the report of the crash of any of its aircraft. He said no alpha jet left Yola for Kaduna, and no accident was reported in Kaduna.
