World soccer governing (FIFA) issued a statement denying the reports going around in the media that it has organized trials games in the Netherlands to change the existing rules of the game.

According to the statement, FIFA confirmed that there is currently no intention to trial any of the changes referred to in these reports and that these changes have not been discussed either internally within FIFA or with our colleagues at The IFAB.
