Biden Did Not Pardon Ted Kaczynski

We found no evidence that Biden pardoned Kaczynski. Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, was a former mathematics professor and domestic terrorist in the United States. Over a 17-year period, Kaczynski sent mail bombs to business executives, academics, airlines, and other targets. 

Kaczynski’s reign of terror ended on April 3, 1996, when he was arrested after an FBI investigation that began in 1978. On May 5, 1998, Kaczynski was sentenced to four life terms after pleading guilty to charges related to three deaths and two maimings. A quick search using the Federal Bureau of Prison's find an inmate tool shows that Kaczynski is still serving his sentence at the United States Penitentiary Administrative Maximum Facility in Florence, Colorado.

The claim that Kaczynski was pardoned originated from a BBC parody account, @BBCNewsButGayer. While @BBCNewsButGayer clearly labels itself as a parody account, the users sharing the false headline didn’t include this disclaimer.
