Ibrahim bin Laden is Selling a Home in Bel Air

MENA: Osama bin Laden was the founder of the Islamist organization al-Qaeda and mastermind of numerous terrorist attacks against the United States according to Brittanica.com. Misbar has discovered that the house in Bel Air that is currently for sale does belong to a member of the bin Laden family, but not Osama. Rather, Ibrahim bin Laden, the older half-brother of Osama bin Laden, is the homeowner. According to the New York Post, Ibrahim was one of 56 children born to Saudi Arabian construction tycoon Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, who had 22 wives. 

According to the U.S. Sun, Ibrahim bin Laden bought the property for $2 million in 1983, where he lived with his former wife Christine Hartunian Sinay and their daughter Sibba. Following the September 11th attacks on the U.S., Ibrahim, who had been vacationing abroad at the time, never returned to the U.S., fearful of the notoriety his last name would bring according to nypost.com. 

The property is reportedly for sale for $28 million and is currently in a state of disrepair. In 2010, the home was being used as a shooting location for pornographic movies. According to the Daily Star, the house was once owned by Wizard Of Oz producer Arthur Freed.
