MENA: The Gulf News debunked the circulating Gulf News article screenshot with fudged headlines and timestamps on WhatsApp. The fake story changed the date of the flight ban from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka to December 31, which is not true.
The Gulf News also stated they reported the matter to the police.
The Gulf News and Al Khaleej Times clarified that the flight ban is until August 7 and not December 31.
