Viral Photo Does Not Show Trump Supporters Protesting Biden in Allentown

The claim went viral in July and August 2021 in response to Biden’s visit to Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Misbar’s Analysis
Our investigation concluded that the image was not taken during Biden’s July 28 visit to Allentown. Biden was in the Allentown area to visit a Mack Trucks plant where he spoke about manufacturing jobs and his ‘Buy American’ plan. While there were a number of Trump supporters there to protest the July 28 event, the photo shared with the claim was not taken at this time.
Through a reverse image search, we found that the photo was taken during a drive-in campaign rally at Dallas High School on October 24, 2020, while Biden was still a presidential nominee. The image was featured in news articles and on entertainment sites during that time. A number of photos were taken during the July visit, none of which feature anything similar to the image being shared.
