MENA: The viral picture is old and not from Afghanistan. On November 17, 2013, the photo was taken when 670 people were evacuated on an American plane from the Tacloban region in the Philippines following Typhoon Haiyan.
The photo started circulating after diplomats and foreign nationals evacuated Afghanistan after the Taliban fighters took over Kabul on August 16, 2021.
