The claim went viral following the fall of Kabul to the Taliban in August 2021.
Misbar’s Analysis
MENA: We found that the video is actually from a Pakistani wedding. A reverse image search using stills from the video led us to a video called “DJ Bannu Dance” posted to YouTube on March 25, 2021, months before the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.
In the video, the men are dancing to an instrumental song, not Drake’s “In My Feelings.”
