ABC TV Aired a Satanic Ritual
The Claim
During a segment on animal welfare, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (commonly called ABC TV) showed footage of a Satanic ritual.

On August 19, ABC TV was showing a segment on a new bill in Australia that would make it illegal to hurt police animals. Footage showed a few men in suits having a discussion until it transitioned to something substantially different.
In the video, the phrase “Hail Satan” can be heard. Social media reacted with equal parts confusion and amusement.
Misbar’s Analysis
We’re not sure why this happened. ABC TV has yet to release a statement on the matter, despite requests to do so. The video in question comes from the Noosa Temple of Satan’s Livestream on October 20th, 2020.
They even posted about the slip-up on their Facebook page.
The Noosa Temple of Satan is a religious group in Queensland, Australia. Like some other Satanic groups, they are very political and advocate for the separation of church and state.
