A video is circulating online on August 17 claiming that a group of the Taliban laughed sarcastically at a journalist’s question about the movement’s willingness to accept the democratic rule, in which people vote for women politicians. Users claimed that the interview was recorded after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.

A small clip from one of the episodes of the documentary has now gone viral on social media as the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan was complete on August 15 with the fighters entering Kabul.
