Emerging story

A social media user claimed that in 2001 a bear, lion, and tiger were all found together in a drug house and have stayed together ever since. The post was liked over 400,000 times.

Misbar discovered Leo, the lion, Baloo the bear, and Shere Khan the tiger are a rare trio who experienced a lifelong friendship together according to IntelligentLiving.co. The animals were found in 2001 when a drug dealer’s house was raided by police in Atlanta, Georgia. When the police searched the basement they found three animal babies who were frightened, malnourished, and infected with parasites.

According to Inside Edition, the three animals were too abused to be released to the wild, so they were brought to the Noah’s Ark Sanctuary in Locust Grove, Georgia. At the sanctuary, they lived together happily as a family for about 17 years. According to Noah’s Ark, Shere Khan and Leo passed away peacefully at the sanctuary, while Baloo is still alive.
