Misbar discovered that on September 9, 2021, President Joe Biden’s Press Secretary Psaki stated that it is hard to find a COVID-19 test and “I would probably have to drive an hour” during a segment on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
In her job, Ms. Psaki most likely spends most of her time close to the White House. While not independently verified, it appears the press secretary lives just outside of the D.C. metropolitan area in Arlington, Virginia.
A quick search shows that COVID-19 testing sites are plentiful in the Arlington, Virginia area, without having to drive an hour. In addition to local health departments, many pharmacy retail chains such as CVS also offer COVID-19 testing.
