The details on the lower right corner include the date created, the 4th of July 2013. A news article was also found corresponding with the first source. The Libyan military helicopter had crashed during an airshow parade at the Benina airbase in Benghazi, killing two crew members and injuring a third.

The claim comes at the backdrop of another helicopter crash as announced by Libya’s Media Office of the President of the Presidency Council and the Spokesperson for the Special Forces through their respective Facebook accounts. The crash also occurred in Benghazi, carried two crew members, a brigadier pilot, and a corporal. Based on the findings, the Misbar team confirms the image is misleading and was related to another helicopter crash in Benghazi that occurred over eight years ago.
