A viral screenshot from ChoufTV alleges that Morocco is conducting virginity tests on schoolgirls.

The picture’s background is a photo of a nurse measuring a young girl’s blood pressure. 

Other accounts claimed the circulating story is happening in Algeria.

Misbar did not find any reports about a four-month pregnant schoolgirl on any credible Moroccan news outlet. The entire story seems to be fabricated.

Tanja7, a Moroccan website, published that the circulating story is not based on any reliable proof. Other Moroccan news websites denied the story, based on their official sources, according to the article.

Misbar’s team discovered that the news on ChoufTv was recently deleted.

The Moroccan Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Health did not mention anything related to the circulating claim on their official websites.
