Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar investigated the claim and discovered that it appeared on a Tiktok account first, which published an unrelated video claiming it belongs to the current events.

We took keyframes from the most-circulated video, reverse image search, and searched for other details or official statements.

Misbar's investigation revealed that the videos circulating were taken in January 2018. We found the same clips on a YouTube channel, along with other videos published by Youm7’s YouTube channel

Furthermore, there were no credible media outlets that confirmed if the misleading video was authoritative. At the same time, some reports attributed to security officials saying that the video was incorrect.
