Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar investigated the claim by first conducting a reverse image search using TinEye, which revealed that the image was available on the internet as early as 2016, as seen below.

Upon further investigation, the image was uploaded on Facebook on a Tajweed ul Quran in February 2016 with a caption in Urdu and Arabic. The caption translated in English reads, “Congratulations, God willing father and daughter graduated from the same class and became memorizers of the Quran.”

This means that the father and daughter celebrated memorizing the Quran simultaneously, a significant achievement in Islam. The image was taken, and a misleading claim was attached to it.

Furthermore, child marriages are illegal in India, and had this claim been true and widely circulated, it would have caught the attention of police officials. However, no credible news sources had reported on the claim whatsoever. Based on the findings, the Misbar team confirms that the claim is false and fabricated the image.
