Several social media users have shared a picture of a document purporting to reveal compensation for the termination of Lebanese Media and Information Minister George Kordahi's service on MBC, which is estimated at $1.9 million.

Misbar team has investigated the claim and found the circulating document fake.
MBC Group has denied, in a statement posted on their official Twitter account yesterday, November 18, 2021, the circulating document.
The statement mentioned that the circulating document contains administrative mistakes, fake details, and fabricated dates and events to offend the group’s image.
MBC also stated that the fabricated document has the signature of the Lebanese journalist Ali Jaber on it in the position of the group’s CEO. But, he never held this position at all.
The group added that Ali Jaber is the general manager of channels in the group.

The Lebanese Media and Information Minister, George Kordahi, also denied, on his Facebook account, the circulating document about his end-of-service compensation from the MBC group.
Since he became minister, Kordahi has been the target of rumors.
