Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar’s team investigated the circulated claim and found that it was misleading. The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) did not announce the passing away of American wrestling champion Mark William Calaway, better known as The Undertaker. Nor was the news announced by any international media. Also, a few hours ago, WWE posted on its official Facebook page a video of a wrestling match, commenting, “On this day in 2000, Dwayne The Rock Johnson & The Undertaker were overwhelmed by Kane, William Regal & Rikishi in a Handicap Match.”

International media outlets announced the death of Belgian kickboxing champion Frederic Sinistra, also nicknamed The Undertaker, days after he left the hospital at his will while infected with COVID-19, but his wife denied that the cause of death was COVID-19. The Belgian champion passed away at the age of 41.
