Users on social media are sharing a photo of a patient in a Jerusalem hospital with a pigeon perched on top of him. According to the claim, the man had no family to visit him in the hospital, but a pigeon he fed daily visited him every day for 23 days.

Using Tineye's reverse image search, Misbar was able to verify the claim, as shown in the results below.
Using the results, it was discovered that the image was uploaded to Flickr in October 2013 by an independent filmmaker named Loannis Protonotarios; according to the post, the image was taken in Athens, Greece, rather than Jerusalem. A screenshot of the image is shown below.
According to the findings, the Misbar team confirms that the claim is false, and that the image in question was taken in 2013 rather than in Jerusalem in the context of the claim.
