Facebook accounts have recently shared an alleged comment attributed to former French football player Zinedine Zidane during a recent interview with the French newspaper Le Monde. In the alleged interview, Zidane speaks about a major plot against the Algerian national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, which will force it out of the league in the first round.

In addition, after searching the website of the French newspaper Le Monde, Misbar’s team found no recent statement or commentary by Zidane, let alone any alleged plots in the Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Cameroon.
