A photo of an airport full of jets and planes has gone viral on Facebook, with users claiming it depicts the Moroccan football team's arrival in Cameroon to compete in the 2022 African Cup of Nations.

Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be misleading.

Using the Google Image Reverse Search, our team found that the picture is from the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Switzerland in 2011 and has nothing to do with the Moroccan football team's arrival in Cameroon.

The majority of the Moroccan football team members arrived last Sunday evening, the 2nd of January, in Cameroon to participate in the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations.

Five players joined the team later on private trips. Facebook users started then sharing the picture, claiming that it depicts the arrival of the rest of the team members.
