Emerging story

Social media users have circulated an image purporting to show a two-legged camel in the desert.

The same picture was circulating years ago and claimed to show a camel that survived a land mine explosion in the desert of Saudi Arabia.

Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be fake.

Using Google Image Reverse Search, our team found the original photo uploaded to a website in 2012. It turned out that the photo was digitally altered to remove the camel's back legs.
