The same picture was circulating years ago and claimed to show a camel that survived a land mine explosion in the desert of Saudi Arabia.

Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be fake.

Using Google Image Reverse Search, our team found the original photo uploaded to a website in 2012. It turned out that the photo was digitally altered to remove the camel's back legs.

According to the website, the photo was taken in the Pakistani desert by the animal scientist Dr. Abdul Raziq Kakar. The original picture also appeared on a wallpaper store website.
