The claim that Mahmoud El-Sisi, the son of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, had arrived in Israel was widely circulated on social media and news websites. 
According to an Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs source, the purpose of the visit is to discuss Israeli-Egyptian intelligence cooperation.

On his Twitter account, Israeli journalist Edy Cohen was the first to announce Mahmoud Al-arrival Sisi's in Israel.
