The media reports also added that the player fell unconscious early in the first quarter of the game and was then taken to UCLA Harbor Medical Center, where he underwent further tests and stayed overnight. The Club also stated in a tweet on its official account on Twitter that Parham is in good health and will be “discharged from the hospital” that day.

Anti-vaxxers have linked taking the COVID-19 vaccines to getting heart attacks that have affected some athletes in recent months. In a fact sheet published by Armstrong Economics, nearly 300 athletes have suffered from cardiac arrest, and more than 167 have died after taking the COVID-19 vaccine. However, an article published by Misbar confirmed that many of these cases are more about latent heart abnormalities. The piece also showed that heart attacks are common in various sports activities and have nothing to do with any approved COVID-19 vaccines.
