A video purportedly documenting an aircraft attack on Feb. 10 at Saudi Arabia's Abha International Airport has been circulating on Twitter.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar investigated the widely circulating claim and discovered it to be misleading. The video that has been circulating has been uploaded to news websites since June 2019, when a rocket landed at Abha International Airport.
The claim comes after Arab coalition forces said that 12 workers and passengers were injured when a plane hit the Abha International Airport on February 10.
As reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the coalition shot down a marching plane that had been launched toward Abha International Airport while a shrapnel shell landed in the area.
