Accounts and pages on Facebook and Twitter have recently circulated a photo that its publishers claimed was of Russia's S-400 missile system heading to the border with Ukraine.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar investigated the widely circulated claim and discovered it to be misleading. The photo was taken in 2014 depicting a military vehicle carrying Russia's S-400 missile system passed through a military parade in Moscow.
The widely circulated claim came at the same time as international concern and Western warnings that Russia was likely to invade Ukraine. Several countries have issued warnings to their citizens to flee the country of Ukraine.
