Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be misleading. The circulating video contains two different clips that our team has found to be old and unrelated to the ongoing Russian military action in Ukraine.

The first clip was found old. It was uploaded to Youtube in November 2016 with a caption reading: “Military Goodbye-Emotional-Wife says goodbye to her Marine as he leaves for deployment.”
The second clip was also posted to Youtube in October 2018 and was entitled “Marine Meets Newborn Son for First Time.”
