Recently, social media pages and accounts have circulated a video claiming to show a director from Ukraine filming footage to publish it as civilian citizens fleeing because Russian forces were targeting them.

Misbar investigated the circulated video and discovered it to be misleading. The video is old and belonged to scenes from a film shoot in Birmingham, UK, and was posted on YouTube in April 2013.
The video was circulated after Russia launched a war on Ukraine on Thursday, February 24, causing more than 368,000 people from Ukraine to flee to its neighboring countries, according to data released by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
