Some media outlets and several Twitter accounts have shared a picture of the former Miss Ukraine in her military gear after declaring that she joined the Ukrainian military as it fights Russian forces.

Misbar’s team investigated the claim and found it to be fake. Anastasia Lenna explained, in a post, she recently shared via Instagram, that all of the photos on her profile were meant to inspire people. Lenna adds: "I am not a military, just a woman, just normal human,” she says, “Just a person, like all people of my country."
This viral claim was also reported by international news outlets such as the New York Post, Zee News, NDTV, Live Mint, India Today, and the The Tribune.
We examined the photo and discovered that Anastasia Lenna was holding an Airsoft rifle. Airsoft is a military simulation sport in which players take part in mock combat resembling military battles. The guns in these games are well-crafted replicas of real weapons. Lenna also clarified this in her Instagram post.
