Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be misleading. The pictures are not from yesterday, March 8, 2022.

Using Google Reverse Image, we found that most of the pictures circulating were taken by President Macron’s official photographer Soazig de La Moissonnière, during an international call, on Feb. 18, 2022, before Russia invaded Ukraine.

The two other circulated pictures are also old and not from yesterday. The first photo was from March 8, 2022. Soazig de La Moissonnière posted it on Instagram and mentioned it was taken on Feb. 9 after the meeting. The second photo, according to the president's photographer, was taken during an international call on March 4, 2022.
