Social media users have recently circulated a photo purporting to show Manchester United's player, Cristiano Ronaldo, watching Manchester City's player Riyad Mahrez score a goal against his team during the last match between the two teams.

Misbar investigated the circulated photo and found it misleading as it does not show Cristiano Ronaldo watching Mahrez's goal against his team. The photo proved to be the design of the Kooora sports’ website.
At the time of Juventus' 2020 match vs. FC Barcelona, a similar photo was posted on the Kooora website. There were also images of the same design for other players, such as Zlatan Ibrahimović and Sergio Ramos.
This image went viral after Manchester City defeated Manchester United (4-1). On March 6th, Mahrez scored two goals for Manchester City in a match between the two teams.
Ronaldo missed the game due to flexor muscle problems, according to Manchester United coach Ralf Rangnick.
