Misbar's team investigated the claim and found it to be fake, as the photo circulating has been digitally altered. The original photo was taken by United Press International photojournalist Oleksandr Khomenko on February 12, 2022, during a rally in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The original photo depicts a woman holding a sign that reads: "No Putin, No Cry." The photo was digitally altered to claim, "We pray again for Myanmar, which has supported Ukraine."
