Social media users have recently circulated a video clip that claims to show a fire at Jeddah Airport in Saudi Arabia, after it was recently bombed by the Houthi group.

It was determined by Misbar that the claim was misleading because the video dates back to July 2020, and shows a fire caused by an explosion on the Ismailia Desert Road in Egypt.
The 2020 fire resulted in the injury of 14 people, according to the Egyptian authorities.
The circulation of the allegation came after a bombing carried out by the Houthi group, which targeted areas in the city of Jeddah in western Saudi Arabia, including an Aramco facility on Saturday, March 19. The Saudi authorities did not announce that Jeddah Airport was among the areas that were bombed.
