Twitter users have widely circulated a photo, which purportedly shows a small French navy ship between two much larger British navy ships.
Former GB News chair Andrew Neil also shared the tweet saying: “Macron will simply hate this picture!!”

Misbar has investigated the circulating claim and found it to be fake. Using reverse image search, Misbar’s team was able to find the original photo, which was shared back in 2021.
The photo was shared on April Fool's Day as a prank.
Andrew Neil was consequently made fun of in an article for believing the claim.
