Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be misleading. The photo, according to Getty Images, was taken in December 2017 and depicts protests following the funeral of two brothers in the northeastern city of Jerada.

2017 Protest in Morocco
In 2017, two brothers died while digging a coal mine in the Moroccan city of Jerada, sparking protests from citizens who accused authorities of abandoning them and leaving them to their fate. The protest was held following the funeral of the brothers, and it was held to condemn the economic and living conditions that, according to the demonstrators, pushed young people to work in dangerous jobs such as mine digging.
