Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar investigated the circulating video and discovered it to be misleading. The video is cut from its context and dates back to U.S. President Joe Biden's 2021 celebration of the 31st anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
In the original video before his speech, Biden is shown asking about Terry Brown's mother, an American girl with disabilities, who spoke about her work as a designer and her permanent disability from a car accident.
It is obvious from the context of the video that when Biden added, “If your mother is not here, she can stand up and support us from home.”
