Social media users have recently circulated photos of a letter which allegedly proves that Several Polish airborne units have been deployed to assist Ukraine in securing infrastructure in Lviv and Volyn Oblast.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be fake. The document clearly shows that the text has been added after inspecting the circulating image, and the background of the text is not homogeneous.

Polish Officials Addressing the Circulating Claim
The Polish General Command of the Armed Forces denied the claim and described the circulating letter as fake.
“This is a false order of the Polish General Staff. The whole document is FAKE! We observe more and more such counterfeit military documents in Polish mass media. Please, DO NOT share this FAKE NEWS."
A spokesperson for the Polish Minister-Special Services Coordinator, Stanisaw aryn, also denied the claim and indicated that the circulating letter is a forgery: "fake order of a Polish general, created for propaganda purposes, was used in disinformation actions against Poland."
