Emerging story
Social media users and Ukrainian news outlets' Twitter pages have shared an image of a postage stamp set, claiming that the Polish Post (Poczta Polska) has issued 99 stamp sets featuring Zelenskyy's portrait.
Some users have mentioned that the Zelenskyy stamps were sold for approximately $1,200 per set within an hour.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be misleading. The Polish postal service, Poczta Polska, did not issue any public stamps featuring President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's portrait.
The Polish Postal Service
Using Google Image Reverse Search, we discovered a Poczta Polska response to a Twitter user who posted the stamp set image. The postal service stated that the stamp featuring Zelenskyy's portrait was ordered by the customer as part of the My Stamp service. According to The Stamp response on Twitter, the service allows anyone to design a stamp based on their idea. Poczta Polska confirmed that these stamps are not for sale and are the property of a customer.
My Stamp Service for Private Stamps
Our team also explored the My Stamp service on the Poczta Polska platform and discovered that anyone can design and create private stamps on the platform.

Our investigation revealed that the stamps depicting Zelenskyy's portrait are not official. The Polish postal service did not issue any similar stamps or publicize them in any publications because the stamps were the property of a client.
