Social media accounts and media outlets across the MENA region have recently circulated a video claiming it depicts fans recently breaking into Stade de France before the Champions League final match, which brought together Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Misbar has investigated the claim and found it to be misleading. The clip is old and was posted on YouTube in January 2019, as it shows 25 commuters rushing through a train station ticket gate in Barcelona, Spain, after paying for a single fare.
Real Madrid vs Liverpool Delayed Over Security Issues
The Champions League final match was delayed by 36 minutes due to “security issues” related to the late arrival of fans to the stadium.
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) later revealed that “thousands of fans with fake tickets” outside the Stade de France ahead of the Champions League final caused disturbing scenes and chaos.
The UEFA said French police had fired tear gas to disperse thousands of frustrated fans building up outside Stade de France because of the fake tickets issue and expressed their sympathy to the fans affected. The UEFA also stated that they would review the situation with local police, authorities, and the French Football Federation.
