Putin’s Illness

Following the release of the intelligence community's fourth comprehensive assessment at the end of May 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin has been the subject of numerous claims. According to Newsweek, Vladimir Putin is "quite seriously ill."

The report also confirmed an assassination attempt on Putin's life last March, according to a Newsweek article published online on June 2, 2022.

According to a recent Politico article, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated, "I don't think sane people can discern any sort of disease symptom in this man."

However, according to the New York Post, a separate anonymous Telegram channel previously claimed that Putin had undergone cancer surgery.
