Klaus Schwab 2007 Video
The video shows Klaus Schwab as he said: āIf I look at our stakeholders, we have a business of course as a very important audience, and we have politics, we have continuous partnerships with many governments around the world, and of course we have NGOs, we have trade unions, we have all those different paths... media of courseā¦ā
Using Google Reverse Image, we found that the video is old. It was uploaded to YouTube in July 2007 and was not filmed using a hidden camera. The circulating clip is a part of the interview, which is available on the forumās YouTube channel.

World Economic Forum Misinformation
World Economic Forum and its annual meeting in the ski town of Davos was the subject of many claims and conspiracy theories recently, which impacted the forumās public image. Our team has debunked several claims targeting the WEF following campaigns of criticism. Many social media users claim the WEF has its own police forces, which is false. Others have circulated a commercial falsely attributed to the forum in addition to fake tweets and unverified allegations.
According to our blog on the WEF misinformation, āthe criticism of the WEF, coupled with the surge in misinformation campaigns, have forced the Organisation to try and fix its public image problem.ā The blog adds: āIf this is not done soon, trust in the organization will begin to dwindle, which would affect their impact and who chooses to associate with them in the future.ā
