Palestinian Rockets Near Ben Gurion Airport

In response to Israel's aggression on Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank in May 2021, the Palestinian resistance fired rockets near Ben Gurion Airport. Due to security concerns, international airlines have canceled flights to Israel. Flights from Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv had to be rerouted to another airport in the south by Israeli authorities.

Israeli Airstrike on Damascus Airport

The claim began to circulate after the Syrian Ministry of Transport announced the suspension of all flights through Damascus International Airport on Friday, June 10, 2022, following the Israeli airstrike that caused damage to the airport infrastructure.

The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency SANA reported that landing and departing flights were suspended until further notice after the Israeli aggression caused heavy damage to the airstrips in several localities and the navigation lights, in addition to the damages that occurred in the airport lobby.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that the Israeli airstrike attacked at least three sites, targeting arms depots belonging to the Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah and other Iran-backed groups near Damascus airport, leaving several people wounded.
