Social media users are widely circulating a photo of the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy using 3D video technology. Social media posts are purporting that the use of green screen proves that the president has been lying about being in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been using 3D imagery to deliver speeches all over the world by using a hologram. 

President’s Zelenskyy’s participation in world events using a hologram has been reported by several renowned media outlets, as can be seen below.

A hologram is created through holography, a photographic technique which records the light scattered from an object and displays it three-dimensionally. 

Is President Zelenskyy in Ukraine?

Several photographs and videos of President Zelenskyy have been taken in Ukraine since the Russian invasion began on February 24, 2022.

Moreover, President Zelenskyy met with world leaders in Ukraine on June 17, 2022. The event was covered by several credible media outlets.
