Twitter users have recently circulated an image claiming that it shows Swedish archers arriving in Ukraine.
Misbar’s Analysis
Misbar investigated the circulating claim and found it to be misleading.
Misbar’s team conducted a reverse image search on google and found that the photo is old and was not taken on Ukrainian soil. The photo was published on a website back in 2020.

Sweden Purchases More Archer Howitzers
Misbar mapped recent news about Sweden and found that a letter of intent has been signed between BAE Systems Bofors and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration to procure 24 additional Archer 155-millimeter mobile howitzers. Although this is part of Sweden’s updated defense strategy in light of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, no news reported that Swedish archers have arrived in Ukraine recently.
Based on these findings, Misbar confirms that the claim is misleading.
