China Central Television (CCTV) published the video on YouTube on October 1, 2019.
According to CCTV, the video was taken during a military parade celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China
The video shows Chinese President Xi Jinping observing troops from a vehicle during the military parade.
"No force can shake the status of our great motherland, and no force can stop the progress of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation," Xi declared in a live broadcasted speech.
The ceremony spotlighted China's rapidly evolving weapon technology.
Tensions Over Taiwan
The clip started circulating after China announced a military exercise around Taiwan, amid rising tensions over Nancy Pelosi's upcoming visit to Asia.

Despite confirming a trip to Asia this week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi did not mention Taiwan.
According to a statement released by her office on Sunday, Pelosi is leading a Congressional delegation to the Indo-Pacific region, where she plans to visit Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and Japan.
Pelosi revealed that a delegation would travel to the Indo-Pacific "to reaffirm America's strong and unshakeable commitment to our allies and friends in the region."
