Misbar investigated the circulated video and found the claim to be misleading. The video is from an artistic live installation and did not take place recently.
“Les Moutons” Artistic Performances
Misbar’s team was not able to find the origins of the viral video via reverse image searches. However, an advanced Google search with keywords pertaining to the video such as “Moutons,” sheep in French, and “sheep costumes” enabled Misbar’s team to trace the video back to an art troop called “Corpus.”
The original video shows a performance titled “Transhumance Demo.” The video was uploaded to YouTube by Corpus Dance Project on December 1, 2018. The video’s description reads:
