Floods in Oman in June 2022
By using Google's reverse image search, we were able to determine that the video shows photojournalist Ali bin Nasser Al-Wardi, who was filming the floods in the area, saving the lives of two children. On June 25, 2022, the video was recorded and released to the public via mainstream news outlets.
2022 Pakistan Floods
On August 26, 2022, the Pakistani government declared a "national emergency" after nearly 1,033 people were killed and more than 30 million were "badly affected" as torrential rains continued to lash the South Asian nation.
Since the floods have deeply affected Pakistan and forced many people to seek higher, drier land, the government has issued an appeal for more international aid.
